Welcome - I'm so glad you're here!
As a specialist in Connection-Based Parenting and ADHD Support, I believe truly understanding behavior is the key to helping all kids thrive. When challenging behaviors surface, it’s easy to feel lost or frustrated. Traditional approaches often focus on ‘fixing’ behavior, but lasting change comes from understanding the needs beneath it.
Defiance, emotional outbursts, social withdrawal-these aren’t
bad behaviors: they’re signals communicating that a child needs support. Responding with compassion instead of reacting helps you see what your child is
truly
struggling with-beyond the behavior in front of you.
Kids feel more at ease, power struggles decrease, and trust and understanding grow.

Supporting Kids Starts with
Seeing Them Differently
With insights from neuroscience, psychology, and child development, I tailor support to help parents and educators shift from frustration to understanding, and from power struggles to greater collaboration.
Working with kids inevitably brings moments of joy-and moments that challenge us in unexpected ways. Some days bring confidence, while others stir uncertainty-especially when big emotions, daily transitions, and the balance between connection and boundaries come into play.
"I felt supported and at ease throughout my sessions with Steph. Her insight and empathy made all the difference."
-Meaghan
"Steph helped me understand executive function skills and how they shape my child’s daily life. I now recognize that what I once saw as defiance was actually a need for targeted support."
-Emily
Hi! I’m Steph Singer
As a certified coach specializing in both Connection-Based Parenting and ADHD/Executive Function support, my mission is simple: to help you bring more calm, connection, and skill-building into your home or learning environment.
My background in psychology and Master’s in Childhood Education led me to elementary teaching and curriculum development-but my deepest learning has come from parenting. Raising a daughter with ADHD and a son with his own unique strengths and challenges has given me firsthand insight into the complexity of supporting children. I know what it’s like to feel lost in the overwhelm, to second-guess yourself, and to wish for tools that actually help.
We are in a transformative time, as research in neuroscience, interpersonal biology, and human development continues to highlight the power of connection-rooted in empathy and compassion. When we shift from seeing behavior as something to ‘fix’ to something to understand more deeply, it transforms how we respond.
Grounded in the belief that behavior is communication, I help parents and educators modify their approach-cultivating curiosity and connection over traditional discipline and shame. With this mindset, we create relationships where children feel safe to grow and parents feel empowered to guide them.

How It Works:
When you book a call with me,
we’ll have a conversation about what’s coming up for you—whether you’re a parent or educator. I’ll listen, offer insights, and share how I can best support you.
I’ll walk you through my approach and the different options for working together. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and explore which type of support aligns best with your needs and schedule.
If it feels like the right fit, we can schedule our first session and get started. If not, I'll do my best to provide alternative resources/suggestions for support. This is simply a chance to connect and determine if we want to move forward with additional sessions.
Let's Connect!
If you're looking for support in understanding and guiding a child in your life, you're in the right place.
Together, we can take the next step toward helping you feel more confident in your approach.
